ASFA ROCK from Kristianstad.
Formed as a cover band ca 1975 in the town Vojakkala, Haparanda. In 1978 the band started to write their own material. Their debut single '
Jeanette / Great Balls of Fire' was recorded in 1980 and released under the name ASFAROCK. The name was shortened to AZFA/ASFA for the second single '
City Girl / Jagad'. They also recorded the songs "I Don't Want" and "Framtidstro" for the '
Kommerciell Kultur (1983)' compilation. A self-made CD with songs recorded live 1979-1984 exists. Christer Innala was later in the cover band
MAYDAY.
