Formed by Martin Contra and Bjön Frisén who met in London in the 70's and have made music since then. The break came in 1982 when their song "Hey Hi Ho" was picked for Swedish Eurovision Song Contest with Liza Öhman performing it. It was also recorded by The Radio. Martin and Björn also wrote the Eurovision songs for "Anna Book - ABC", "Baden-Baden - Jag Har En Dröm" and "Stefan Borsch - Sjung Din Sång".

In 1982 they got a contract with SOS Records and formed Balls And Chains. The band also included English drummer Dave Hodgson and Dutch vocalist Martin Korfmaker (earlier in Dutch heavy metal band Rising). They released 3 singles and worked on a full-lenght LP (but it was never completed).
