The early formation of ALEXANDER LUCAS was called JUSO and featured MAGNUS UGGLA. When Magnus parents divorced he moved with his father and the remaining members formed ALEXANDER LUCAS. The bandname was created from the bandmembers ( Lucas Ekström and Claes Alexander von Post) first names. The song "Svarta Skogen" can also be found on 'The Essence of Swedish Progressive Music 1967-1979' compilation. Benna Sörman later joined STRIX Q together with UPPÅT VÄGGARNA guitarist Dante Holmberg.
