Black Dragon Killers (Swe)

Also known as "Killers". Most likely a one-off project created for Kapprocken by members of Exodus.

They performed at Kapprocken in Borlänge in May 1983, dressed in military gear and leather jackets, wielding axes and whips. The only known evidence of the band is an audience recording from Kapprocken by Tony Fahlstedt, featuring live versions of the songs "Fighting For A Life" and "Look Out."

Black Dragon Killers intend to offer many surprises in the final. It will be hard rock - but above all a show!

- We're not performing to win. We're performing so that we and the audience can have fun, says singer Kent Helmersson.

Killers is the group that performed in the regional final in Falun after a total of eight hours of rehearsals. Everyone in the group plays in other Falun bands. But none of those bands had the opportunity to perform. The solution was a completely new band: Killers. The Falun audience probably remembers the group more for how they looked than for how they sounded. Nazi helmets, whips, axes and leather jackets all in a loving parody of hard rock. It's a crazy idea all in all, states Kent Helmersson. That may be how it is with that matter. It will still be exciting to see how the Killers fare in competition with the other "real" hard rock groups.
