The band split in 1999 when Kristian took part in a TV-show where the dance band Friends was put together. After some success Friends split in 2002 and Kristian became lead singer for The Poodles, whom he left after a year when he concentrated on writing music for other pop artists. In 2006 he started a new solo career and released the radio oriented melodic rock with an edge album 'Learning To Fly'. He was also in metal band Starmen with an as-yet unreleased album under the belt.
