Overdrive (Swe) - Mission of Destruction (2001)

As all the live-recordings were recorded direct to tape, no re-mixes, dubs, level-changes or cover-up of bum-notes have been done. It's friggin Live in the raw!!

Tracks 1-8 recorded at Rockslagsfestivalen, Bellevue, Karlshamn, July 27, 1982.
The show took place before the recordings of "Metal Attack", so here you'll also find some songs that never made it onto the album. Original line-up.

Track 9 recorded at Gräsvik, Karlskrona, June 1985.
Our last show ever. Pelle's voice was not in the best of shapes, so out of the four songs that made it on tape, "Swords and Axes" was the best choice. This recording features Zoltan Djember, who replaced Kent on bass in early 1985.

Tracks 10-14 recorded at the Karlshamn Rock Festival, Bellevue, June 14, 1997.
Twelve years after we broke up we felt it would be fun to get together and do an original line-up reunion. Two rehearsals and off we went. We had great fun. The hissing sound you hear is actually the smoke-machine, a loud bastard. Kjell also broke a string in "Black Revenge", so the reason why the guitar-sound changes is because he switched from his Gibson SG to a Strat in the middle of the song. It's only rock 'n roll!

These tracks were recorded at the same session as the "Reflexions" EP, but went on a local compilation-LP called "Rockslaget". As you will hear the version of "Tonight" is pretty different here compared to the re-worked live version. - Written by Janne Stark / September 2001.
