ROACH were formed in 1983-84 with members spread out in the Gothenburg area (Floda, Alingsås, Lindome and Hisingen) influenced by bands like RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE and EUROPE. They entered several band stands and reached the finals of the 1987 Rock SM. However, the band split a few years later. Robert, Pontus and Stefan formed the new band DOUBLE W TWISE, also featuring singer Pierre Wensberg, more in the vein of TOTO. Pontus is the nephew of ALIEN guitarist Tony Borg, who also produced the single. Garnold is today in ELEVENER.
