Info from Janne Starks Encyclopedia
Savagers were one of those mythical mystery bands, where no one seemed to know the origin and whereabouts. Well, here it comes. the band was formed in 1980 under the name Killers. In 1983 they changed their name to Savagers and recorded their first fouur-track demo. In 1984 they went to Nacka to record the MLP. Not satisfied with the mix they recorded a new five-track demo already in 1985. One of the songs, "Vi Är Tre (We Are Three)" is in Swedish as this was a demand to enter the Rock-SM bandstand. After this things was quite slow, but in 1990 the band was reformed as X-Eryus, adding keyboardist Joakim Patsonen and drummer Patrick Fransson (Anders switched to guitar). The band recorded one LP, now a bit more commercial-sounding. In 1991 X-Eryus also folded.
