There is no released date printed on the album or CD, but the last known release from this promo (Brainwave) was in 1997 so this compilation was probably released around that time. Also the cat number ends with 97.

UMNIB, Youth Music and Neighborhood in Borås, that was the point of view when this project started. The idea was that two music associations and an environmental organization would make a joint effort to highlight the problems we have with our environment and give us food for thought to start tackling the problem. What a problem that is. The idea was not that the music groups would write a lot of songs about the environmental problems we have (that would probably be boring to listen to) but that the album's layout would carry an environmental message and the music would help sell it. We think we have succeeded in that. Speaking of problems, there has naturally been a lot of trouble during the journey, for example one of the music associations committed harakiri and was disbanded plus a lot of other problems. But now when you hold the record in your hand, flip through the little book that comes with it while listening to the songs and think about what exactly you can do to improve the environment now and for future generations, because that's actually where the shoe pinches, we living today will not have to take care of our own waste but our children will have to. The project is financed by the Allmäna Arvsfonden, Studiefrämjandet in West and Studiefrämjandet in Borås.
