LOVE CHILD ~ From Sweden ~They were all active in local bands such as R.A.M.P., Stainless, and Theater Rose, but in 1991 they formed the band. Initially, the band was a twin guitarist with a guitarist named Mikael Folkesson, and called themselves Trazy. After producing a demo tape, the band changed its name to Love Child. Their appeal is their straight and dynamic hard rock sound. The release of their debut album is planned for the future.
STORMWING ~ From Finland ~
The band was officially formed in 1986, but the foundations had already been established through repeated sessions since around 1980. In 1987, they released a single containing "Eyes As Cold As Ice" and "Hypnosis" Later, they released a cassette containing four songs recorded in Sweden, but due to conscription, they enlisted in the army and activities were suspended. In 1988, original member Cari Michael (G) left the band, but in 1989 they released the single "Heart To Heart" and expanded their activities by providing songs for television and movies. In 1991, they welcomed Kim Hightower and started recording a new demo. Their sound is characterized by beautiful melodies featuring keyboards. In the future, they will release their highly anticipated debut album and a tour is planned.
WANTED ~ From NORWAY ~
The band was formed in 1989 as Rag Dogs. After working as a support band for Tindrum, they changed their name to Wanted. While participating in various band contests, they met Ronnie Le Tecla and Morty Black from TNT, and released the seven-song cassette "Gotcha". Produced by TNT's touring keyboardist Doug Stokke. The sound is dominated by orthodox hard rock, influenced by Extreme, Van Halen, and Mötley Crüe. Although they have just released their debut album "Over The Top", recording members Jojo Thompson (Vo) and Rocket (B) have left the band. They have welcomed new members Vinnie K. Keelzer (B) and Eric Hawk (Vo), who was in Artch.
RAGS ~ From Norway ~
Melodic rock with a strong female vocalist as the main vocalist. Incidentally, Ken and Siri used to be in a band called Limelight, and supported TNT on their Norwegian tour in 1987. In 1990, the band was started by Siri and Ken and focused on songwriting and rehearsals. The success paid off, and in 1993 they released their debut album, "A World Behind the Beat." Guest appearance by Tommy Laverdi of 21 Guns. The album also received positive reviews from the magazine "Kerrang!".
HANGMAN JURY ~ From Norway ~
The band was formed in 1989 by a group of local bands called Stavanger, Trysil, Syrde, Telemark and Trondheim. In 1990, they participated in the Norwegian band contest "Battle of the Bands" and won the grand prize out of 400 other bands, which led to the release of the single "Like Animals". From 1992, they performed at the "Kraft Rock Festival" in Sweden and other events, and have been active in Sweden and Norway. In 1993, they released their debut album "Who Do You Think Us?". Their second album is scheduled for release this year. They cite The Beatles, Thin Lizzy, and It Bites as bands that influenced them.
TOUGH TRADE ~ From Sweden ~
Originally, they were in another local band, but started to work on forming a new band, and in 1990, Tough Trade was formed. Having been influenced by AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Jimmy Hendrix, they have a history of touring not only in Sweden, but also in Germany and the UK. They are a band that believes in an orthodox and straight sound. They have now changed their name to Jungle Mouth.
D.I.M. (Diabolos In Musika) ~ from NORWAY ~
They were originally session musicians, but decided to form a band together in 1993. They have been performing live in their hometown and have already established a reputation as a live band. Influenced by Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin. Their music is a mixture of classic, hard rock and modern heavy rock. Their motto is "RAW AND IN YOUR FACE".
NAKED EYE ~ From Norway ~
The band was formed in 1991. The band aims to create a groovy, melodic, hard rock and roll sound with a soul and blues taste. The members got jobs in studios and were involved in the production of various demo tapes. Recently they have been focusing on club gigs. They cites Kiss, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, and Dan Reed Network as bands and artists that have influenced them.
BEWARP ~ From Sweden ~
The band was formed in 1991 by Dick, who went to the US in 1986, studied at G.I.T., and auditioned for Lita Ford and the Ozzy Osbourne band. The following year they made their debut with the album "Funk'd Rapt'n Trash'd" and performed at gigs. However, Bobby Vargkvist (vocals) left the band. Recently, Theo Theander (drums) also left the band, but new members have been added. Their songs are characterized by technical guitar work, influenced by funk/dance music, and incorporating pop and rock flavors. Their second album is already complete and is due for release soon. The title is "In Your Face".
TUMBLIN' DICE ~ From Norway ~
Formed in 1992. Influenced by bands such as Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Nazareth, Chainsaws, Grinsawa, Grinders, AC/DC, and Soundgarden. The material on this album was produced in February 1993, and new material is scheduled for summer 1994. It also appears that material for a special collection album dedicated to KISS has already been recorded (details unknown). There was also a change in drummer, with Gerhard Herfingdal leaving the band. The band has changed the name to RAM.
