This four men gang from Gothenburg in the south of Sweden, clearly display that pop doesn't have to be for whimps! Jorgen Westman's songwriting is based on good old fashion themes - girls, fun, cars, girls, summer, booze and more girls and much more fun. Racing distorted guitars, raging Farfisa organ and refrains that keep everyone coming back for more.

Guitar rock 'n' roll with a truckload of heart, soul and balls. Not just another Gothenburg band, according to the press, they combine frenzied melodies roughly spanked with heavy rhythms and spiced with the vocals of Roger Arvidsson who wails with the raucious- ness of a banshee. The album also features the newest member - Björn Olsson (former founding member and lead guitarist of Union Carbide Productions) who now takes part, ripping & roaring on guitar and lending a hand with the songwriting. The single "Off The Wall" was mixed by Mick Ronson. "Medication" is the perfect medicine for those who like their rock 'n' roll with a fever.

Finland has always had a reputation for overtly wild rock music. The Wanna-Bees. justify that fact with a sorcher of an album. Funky licks layer this licourice pizza and refrains that raise the roof off any party. Kari Jankinen sets the pace with his hellbound blazing guitar and his ball- breakin' vocals that makes songs like "Stand Up" and "Small Town Heroes" sincerely powerful! The band was born in the garage. Later on to grow up into one of Finlands premier hard rock funk-punkers with no aprehension, just loads of full speed go!

Frenzied-wild-sweaty-sweet & sticky-kick ass- heavy metal rock 'n' roll! These guys rock with spitfire guitar licks from Rasmus Andersson that could make Slash and Joe Perry green with envy. Daniel Magnussen's vocal power growls like a panther in heat. Furthermore, Manne Korsoki (half Swedish/ American) sets fire to the songs with his "Sonny Boy Williamson Harmonica Playing" which gives new meaning to the word BURN! This young band from Gothenburg is raised on Aerosmith, Guns & Roses, leather and Harley Davidson. Their debut album is scheduled in the fall of 1992. "Hard Times" is a pre-album sample showing everyone that these boys pull no punches.
UNION CARBIDE PRODUCTIONS"Golden Age" taken from the album 'From Influence To Ignorace'
Without a doubt one of Sweden's pride upon the rock scene... Their debut album "In The Air Tonight" has become a classic. Spin (USA) called the album "Amazing". UCP specialized their "Wall Of Grunge" and combined it with an even heavier production match with sincere pop melody, which resulted in their second critically acclaimed album "Financially Dissatisfied, Philosophically Trying", which gave the World "Glad To Have You Back". The video which was shown heavily on MTV. Their latest release "From Influence To Ignorance" is a return to the early 70's distorted psychedelic sound and is a stereo mix that is mind boggling. The videos "Be Myself Again" and "Golden Age" were both featured on MTV 120 minutes. UCP have toured extensively throughout Europe and the USA East coast. They are on tour in Germany and will be heading for Japan soon. With front man Ebbot, a UCP show is far from predictable and the energy level is higher than the Eiffel tower. UCP's next album is scheduled for the fall and plans are being made for them to record in America.
