Az Axel was a heavy metal band likely based in the Dals Långed/Bengtsfors area. At one point, the lineup included Anders Almqvist (from Screem), a connection confirmed in the booklet of 'Screem - Serpent Kiss' reissue.
Az Axel recorded at least one demo in 1985 featuring the songs "Az Axel", "Danger" & "Fear" (this demo has often been mistaken for that of a Belgian band, likely due to the existence of a Belgian band called Axel).
