Formed 1989 as Crossfire with a different singer. The band later changed their name to Happy Baboons and welcomed vocalist Samuel Jansson in October 1990. At the time, all members were just 16 to 18 years old.
They won the Halländska Rock DM'et and advanced to the finals in Rockslaget 1991, earning the opportunity to record the two songs "Everlasting Love" & "Surrender" for the compilation LP with the same name. These were the only songs the band recorded, except for a demo as Crossfire.
Note: Magnus Wennerholm is not the same Magnus who released a single with Cavokey in 1989.
