Redstorm (Swe)

The band was more or less Iranian born Siros solo project, but Jens became a part of the band. After the record they had a full line-up but nothing happened. Jens had earlier recorded some demos with Wasteland, later Stinking Rich and was then in cover band Puck. Siros moved to Stockholm where he ran CSR Studios. He wrote and produced music for artists like Shy Lovers and Shawn Leone.

Admin notes: Redstorm recorded a second album which remains unreleased.

1. When was Redstorm founded?
Founded in 1989.

2. Where did you learn to sing, play bass, guitar, keyboards?
In Umeå, a small city in nothern Sweden

3. Your influences?
Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Y. Malmsteen. Tony MacAlpine

4 . Why did you never release a second LP?
Because of the market direction and no company to back it up.

5. Did you ever earn any money with your music?
I earned some money from the record but unfortuneltly it never covered the costs.

6. Did you play with some well known bands in concert?
Not well known but local bands "known" around Sweden.

7. Do you still like Heavy Metal?
Yes. It's still in my blood somehow. All my new style of music you still can hear that I am a rock guitar player
