Compilation with local Gävle area bands connected to Musikhuset Sjömanskyrkan.
Musikhuset's third CD is now recorded. All groups in the house have been offered to participate. Of these are the eleven that made it to the finish line with a total of fourteen songs. You are welcome to visit us for a coffee in the cafe or a baguette from "Mackeriet". Maybe you want to develop some talent, the activities cover many areas.
MusicThe church has been a music house since 1987. About thirty groups train with Us. There is room for several more. The rent includes time in our recording studio Studio Loftet, where the third CD is now completed. Musical arrangements of various kinds take place regularly. Most recently it was The Refreshment's tenth anniversary.
AssociationsThe theater association Pegasus meets, rehearses and sometimes has performances in the house. Gävle International Cultural Association has an office and various activities. The role-playing association Carpe Noctum has premises and activities. Metall's Unemployment Project has an open house two days a week. The song and dance group Kerkelo rehearses at us. So does the Concordia choir.
ArrangementsWe justify the name all-activity center.
Sound
There is plenty of sound in the house. We also have sound systems for hire.
EducationThere is dance, theatre, qigong and music.
CraftsIn the basement there are study circles of various kinds.
IngestionCafé Cajutan is open seventy-five hours a week. In the house there's also has a "Mackeri" that is open Monday-Friday. There you can buy and order baguettes or sandwich cakes. We also run Café Edbom at the City Library.
