V/A - Karlshamns Musikforum 15 År (1989)

Mixed genre (4 heavy metal songs) compilation compiled by Karlshamns Musikforum on their 15 year anniversary. 26 bands of all kind of genres contributed to the album, among those was INTERACTION who earlier had contributed to the 'Rockslaget (1981)' 3LP compilation with the songs "Stuck in Drugs" and "It's Right". Also features the ex-HATCHET act EON with the song "The End of an Era".

Great double album from 1989 featuring 26 of the 40 bands that were active at Karlshamns musikforum at the time. This double album was a document of what was going on at the Music forum that celebrated their 15th anniversary. There are a few tracks worth checking out on this one. First out are the Hardrock act TENGEL with the track ‘Two minutes silence’. Definitely a band that should have released a single or an album. Swedish punk band DEAD YOUTH started in 1988 and got the track ‘Any Chans’ on this album and another one onto a compilation EP released by Panx Vinyl zine. DEAD YOUTH were offered a record deal in England but the band split up at the same time (1992) due to lack of interest from some members of the band. Some of the members were also involved in other Karlshamn acts such as NO SOLUTION and SETBACK. The vocalist Pelle later formed the synthband AVANT GARDE. Jump forward to the last side and youll find 2 great ones. First out are the heavy metal act EON with the track ‘The End Of An Era’. The band are unknown to me but performs a nice metal tune here. Last but not least are INTERACTION. The same band that can be found on the Rockslaget album and the same band that released a mini album and a mega rare promotional single
