Info from Janne Stark's Encyclopedia
Fake were formed in 1977 by composer Erik Strömblad and Stefan Bogstedt under the name Size 46. The line-up was completed by Stefan Sverin (Glory Bell's Band), Tony Wilhelmsson and singer Ulrika Örn. The first single is the only thing worth checking out for fans of melodic hard rock / AOR. After this they transformed into a synth pop band in the vein of Depeche Mode, had a big hit wit hthe song "Donna Rouge" and recorded numerous singles and the album 'New Art'. Strömblad later formed Walk On Water and Wilhelmsson his solo project Pillow Parade. Ulrika appeared in the movies G Som I Gemenskap and Splittring and today works as a music journalist at Swedish television. She also released a solo pop single.
