II Shy were formed in the fall of 1984 as a school project. All members were beginners, but soon caught up. The band went through various line-ups, but the basics featured Joakim, Johan, Micke, Jannicka, Victor and Helena. At some points the band also featured Steven Anderson, Peter Westby and Sebastian Lind. The band folded in 1988 and evolved into Broken Glass featuring Jämtberg and Erdesjö.
Note: The band attended Rock-SM in 1988. Johan Jämtberg is the man behind the music-school Helges in Gävle.
