THE AVENUE were a Swedish band based up north in Luleå 1985-1986. Members Mats Hallstensson, Anders Lundström and Henrik Andreasson moved to Stockholm in 1986 to start THE STATION, and later in 1991 HOUSE OF SHAKIRA. THE AVENUE rocorded a 3 track demo tape at Åke "Donken" Karlssons recording studio in 1985, one of the tracks were "The Temptation".
