Info from Metal-Archives Verdict was created from the merging of two bands, Act (later known as Akt) and Peterson. They'd been playing gigs as Act/Peterson, and as a 3-piece (without bassist Sköld, despite common misinformation) had released a 1984 demo under the Peterson moniker, often mistakenly thought to be the Verdict "Challenger of Evil" demo that has circulated in the underground and was bootlegged by Flynn Records.
Verdict played one show, and released the 3-song "Live Cuts" tape from it in 1985.
