Trazer was a hard rock/heavy metal act hailing from Jönköping, Sweden. In 1981, they released their only single, "Street Fighter / Badly Reason." The band came close to landing a deal with EMI, but their sound was considered too heavy for the Scandinavian market at the time. Shortly after the single's release, Claes Hernegård replaced original drummer Peter Jacobsson. Peter later made a name for himself playing with notable acts such as E.F. Band, King Diamond, Geisha, Totem, and more.

Following Trazer’s split, Claes went on to join Zaragon and later the Twilight Project. As of today, founding members Janne and Håkan are still active in music, performing with the cover band Why Not, alongside Peter Tillgren (East End) and Eddie Windborg (Green Sleeves).
