Female fronted hair rock band featuring vocalist Salme Oja (now Dahlström). Captain Heart played live on the Nordic Channel TV show Top Gear (hosted by Stuart Ward) in 1990 and participated in Rock-SM 1991. They also contributed with the songs "Rock My Baby To Sleep" and "Dear Lover Of Mine" on 1991 compilation 'Swedish Rock Grafitti Vol. 1' with guest appearance by Johan Norberg (slide guitar) and Helena Thunell (choir).

Salme's TV debut was in 1986 at 17 years old when she appeared on the quiz show "Kvitt Eller Dubbelt", winning first prize of 48,000 SEK ($4,548) in the category of KISS. Beyond the cash prize, she also got to meet the band in the USA. Her experience was featured in the fanzine OKEJ, which included an article about her meeting. Additionally, she interviewed Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, which was later aired on TV show Metropolis. Today, Salme lives in New York, USA, where she creates electronic music under the name Salme Dahlstrom.
