Band features vocalist Håkan "Nordman" Hemlin who had a big success in the mid 90's with his and Mats Wester's duo band Nordman. They met in 1991 at Studio Hjorthagen where Bye Bye recorded a demo for the promo CD 'Promotion Music 92: For Sale Urgent'

Before Bye Bye, Håkan had the band Redline in Södertälje. They recorded stuff between 1981-1991 with songs such as "Dangerous Diamonds", "She Don't Want Me", "Broken Heart", "Need A Woman", "Pain" etc.

All Bye Bye members contributed to the self-titled album by Through Time Tomorrow (recorded 1995-1997, released 1998).

Håkan is the brother of Ronny Hemlin (Tad Morose, Steel Attack, Planet Storm, Arcana Major, Lack of Faith, Inmoria, Carmilla etc)
